Chihayafuru Part I

After Chihaya Ayase was in the 6th grade of elementary school, she met with Arata Wataya. Arata Wataya transferred from Fukui Prefecture. Taichi Mashima has been Chihaya Ayase's friend since they were modest. Arata got from the card game karuta close to Taichi and Chihaya. Chihaya can be a senior school student. Chihaya finds that Arata, that travelled straight back to Fukui Prefecture, does not play with karuta anymore. Believing they and Arata will match again, Chihaya and tai-chi starts a karuta club.
