HONDROS chronicles the life and career of renowned war photographer Chris Hondros, delving into the tragic and often shocking tales behind his most famous photographs. Chris was one of the first in a new generation of war photographers since Vietnam, driven by a desire to give witness to the wars of our time following the events of 9/11. HONDROS delves into the challenges of reporting more than a decade of conflict while attempting to live a regular life. It also looks at the unknown calculus that goes into making split-second life-or-death decisions — before, during, and after his photographs were taken. Chris was slain in Libya in 2011, yet his legacy in the industry lives on.
