How to Plan an Orgy in a Small Town is about a group of friends who live in the town of Beaver's Ridge--the epitome of solid and wholesomeness family values. Their orderly life is interrupted by the homecoming of Cassie Cranston (Jewel Staite), whom they slut-shamed into exiting town when she had been a teenager. Now a big-city sexual writer, Cassie returns home to handle an unwelcome reception by her friends, and finds an opportunity to get revenge by writing a book on them whenever they ask her if she will help them plan an orgy.
