Platoon Leader

West Point grad lieutenant Jeff Knight matches with cynicism when taking command of sergeant Michael McNamara's tour specialists platoon in a trench camp. Unlike his predecessor, that hid till the conclusion of the excursion, Jeff experiences the manual doesn't allow handling all realities, takes control and gets injured. He returns, today respect by men and superiors. Besides the Viet Cong, the platoon wrestles with all the overburdened villagers, which the G.I.'s formally shield, but also fear as some interact using them, other covertly with the Cong, either manner theme to bloody reprisals.
