Prick Up Your Ears

Stephen Frears directs this drama concentrating on controversial British playwright Joe Orton, revealed after his murder in flashback Kenneth Halliwell. Born at the English Midlands, John'Joe' Orton moves into London in 1951, to examine at RADA, also enjoys an openly homosexual relationship with Halliwell in their apartment in the 1960s. But when spectacular success is achieved by Orton 'What the Butler Saw' and'Loot', Halliwell begins to feel rested as well as the set's future looks increasingly unclear.
