Primal

Anja and five friends join student, Dace, on a journey to study a remote stone painting. Their enthusiasm fades after skinny dipping in the waterhole when Mel becomes delirious. Feverish, bleeding, perplexed, and she emotionally and mentally regresses to a barbarous predatory state. Mel moved undercover. Mel's lover and friends realise they are the victim because she cruelly hunts down them. Before they can escape another among them starts posing a choice that is horrible. Kill their friends be murdered by them. Their sole hope of survival is by way of a cave, by which Anja learns too late the significance of the stone art that they came to review.
