Red Riding: In the Year of Our Lord 1980

After 6 decades of brutal murders that the West Yorkshire Police fear that they might have already interviewed The Ripper and let him back in to the planet to keep his reign of terror upon the taxpayers of Yorkshire, however, matters become difficult for the Police when they discover they not only have The Ripper to grab, but a copy cat killer can be too large. Assistant Chief Constable of their Manchester Police, Peter Hunter, is called in to oversee the West Yorkshire Police's Ripper evaluation, with the assistance of John Nolan and Helen Marshall, both detectives from the Manchester Police, they decide to return and examine the crime reports out of the Rippers sufferers to see exactly what they could have missed.
