The Black Sleep

In 19th century England, a documented brain-surgeon enrolls a student from spirits him away to a re-purposed abbey far in the countryside, and being chased on a certainty for murder. Additionally, he connives his pupil into assisting him mapping the purposes of the many sections of the human brain, together with living areas that are under a terrible animation-suspending drug called"black sleep". Afterward , the student, as well as the daughter of one of those subjects, find that most of these areas have endured but are increasingly being kept at a dungeon-like cellar, in many stages of derangement...
