The Eel

Worker Yamashita realizes that his wife has a lover seeing her when he is off returns home and kills her. After eight years in prison, he returns to dwell in a small villagethat opens a barbershop (he was trained as a barber in prison) and speaks nearly to nobody but for the eel he"befriended" in prison. He finds out the unconscious body of Keiko, who reminds him and attempted suicide. She starts to work in his shopbut he does not let her become close to him.
