The Karate Kid

Dre Parker that was 12-year-old may happen to be the kid in Detroit, but he has been landed by the most recent career move of his mother . The ethnic differences make this a friendship impossible although dre immediately falls for his class mate Mei Ying. Worse, Dre's feelings leave him an enemy of the class bully. With no friends in a strange land, Dre has no where to turn but maintenance man Mr. Han, who's a kungfu master. Since Han teaches Dre that kungfu is not about parries and cries, but calm and maturity, Dre understands that facing down the bullies will be the struggle of his lifetime.
