The Train

Whilst the Allied forces approach Paris in August 1944, German Colonel Von Waldheim is desperate to take most of the greatest paintings of France to Germany. He manages to secure a train to transfer the artworks that are valuable as retreat's chaos descends upon them. The immunity however wishes to avoid them from slipping their domestic treasures but also have received requests from London that they are not to be destroyed. Labiche, the channel master, is tasked with making it all happen smoothly and scheduling the train but he is also a portion of a group of resistance fighters tasked with avoiding the theft. He and others stage an elaborate ruse to help keep the train from leaving French territory.
