Coronation Street

Coronation Street is actually a British television soap opera first broadcast on Granada Television at 1960. It was syndicated on ITV franchises. The programme concerns that the lives of these residents of Coronation Street at Weatherfield, a place of Salford, and centers around its terraced houses, cafe, corner shop, newsagents, textile mill and the Rovers Return pub. The programme has been devised in 1960 by local script writer Tony Warren at the Granada Television in Manchester. Warren's initial drain drama proposal was refused by the station creator Sidney Bernstein but he was persuaded by producer Harry Elton to produce the programme for thirteen pilot incidents. It was broadcast on 9 and over half a year was the most-watched programme in British television. It has been among the very financially lucrative programmes on television, underpinning the achievement of their Granada Television franchise and the broadcaster ITV. Coronation Street is made by Granada Television at Granada Studios in Manchester. It is displayed in every ITV regions in addition to worldwide. On 17 September 2010, it turned into the planet's longest-running TV soap opera in manufacturing companies. Coronation Street is famous because of the depiction of a down-to-earth working class community together with humour and characters.
