Eden of the East

Eden of the East is a Japanese anime television show, which premiered on April 9, 2009 on the noitaminA timeslot of Fuji TV. Created, directed and written by Kenji Kamiyama, it includes character designs by Chika Umino and animation production by Production I.G. Based on a classic story by Kamiyama, it's the primary original noitaminA collection. A set of this television show, Eden of The East Compilation: Air Communication, had a small release on September 26, 2009. Two other theatrical films have been released. Eden of the East Picture I: The King of Eden was released in Japan and Eden of the East the Movie II: Paradise Lost, also the picture, was released on March 1-3, 2010. The TV show and films are licensed for release in North America from Funimation Entertainment. The show made its North American introduction.
