Fame

Fame is a American tv show produced between 1982 and 1987. The show is in line with the 1980 motion picture of the same name. Employing a mixture of play and music, it followed the lifestyles of faculty and the pupils for the Performing Arts. Although fictional, it had been based greatly upon the actual Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in New York. Interior scenes were filmed in Hollywood, California. In nyc, several exterior scenes were filmed by the show on location in most seasons except that the 3rd. This series' popularity, particularly in the UK, live concert tours and led to many hit records. Despite its success, high-profile careers were maintained by not many of these actors after the show was cancelled. A number of these cast members were spotted again briefly in Bring straight back. . .Fame, a reunion special-made for UK tv.
