He & She
She & he is an American sitcom which aired as a portion of its lineup on the CBS television network , originally sponsored by Lever Brothers and General Foods.
She & he is widely considered to be by broadcast historians ahead of its own time. Its sophisticated approach to comedy was viewed as opening doors to the MTM group of sitcoms of the 1970s, beginning with The Mary Tyler Moore Show in 1970. The smoothness of Oscar was the pattern for the Ted Baxter character, for which founder Leonard Stern granted consent.
CBS aired reruns He & She in period from June 1970.
