Holocaust
Holocaust is an American television mini series broadcast on the NBC television system in four parts in 1978. The show tells the narrative of the Holocaust from the view of the Weiss family of German Jews and of a member of the SS, that becomes a merciless war criminal. Holocaust highlighted numerous vital events which occurred around and during World War II, such as Kristallnacht, the creation of ghettos and after that the use of gas chambers. Even though mini series won several awards received critical acclaim, it was criticized by some, including noted Holocaust survivor and author Elie Wiesel, who described it as"untrue and offensive"
