Judge Judy
Judge Judy can be a American reality court series presided over by retired Manhattan Family Court Judge Judith Sheindlin. The series features Sheindlin adjudicating modest claims disputes . All parties must sign contracts, agreeing to arbitration under Sheindlin. The show is currently in syndication and distributed from CBS Television Distribution.
Judge Judy, which triggered on September 16, 1996 re-vitalized the court series celebrity. Just two other arbitration-based reality court shows preceded it, The People's Court and Jones and Jury.
