Miracles
Miracles is an American drama tv program starring Angus Macfadyen and Skeet Ulrich. Created by Richard Hatem and Michael Petroni, the series has sometimes been dubbed a"spiritual edition of The xfiles" by its founders. Subsequent to a pilot, David Greenwalt, co-creator of all Angel functioned as the executive producer and head writer for the residual episodes of the show.
Paul Callan, an investigator of wonders for the Catholic Church that questions his faith afterwards finding ordinary explanations for phenomena that are supposed is followed by miracles. After he witnesses a true, supernatural miracle which saves his lifetime , only due to his findings on to be dismissed on a lack of signs, Paul leaves behind the Church and is approached by Alva Keel to unite his own company Sodalitas Quaerito, investigating and cataloguing"unexplainable" phenomena. Along with former police officer Evelyn Santos, Paul and Alva try to battle the impending"shadow" before it's too late.
The series proved as a part of ABC's new"Super Monday" line up on January 27, 2003. Six episodes were aired on ABC until the series was canceled because of low ratings, using its final broadcast episode drawing just 5.7 million viewers around March 3 1, 2003. The series has been preempted a number of times during its conduct for a rebroadcast of the documentary special Living with Michael Jackson and several times to broadcast newsmagazine specials in regards to the Iraq War. Miracles fans, angered by the cancellation and what they watched as ABC's mismanagement of the series's Monday 10:00pm timeslot, began a fan campaign to regenerate the show. Fans mailed them into various networks expecting that the show would be restored by another media and wrote messages napkins , however efforts were unsuccessful and the show did not last past its arrangement of thirteen episodes.
