The State

The Condition is a television series, originally broadcast on MTV between December 17, 1993 in the united states, and July 1, 1995. The series combined scenarios and characters to present sketches that acquired the favour of its target teen aged audience. The cast consisted of 11 twenty something comedians who directed, acted, composed, generated and edited the series. Several memorable characters were created for the series, also for a time their catchphrases entered into the vernacular. The cast tackle the viewer to deliver public service announcements or to promote contests that are fake and would seem as themselves. Similar to Monty Python, their state's sketches were sometimes linked in some way: a punch line or image that ended one sketch regularly given a. On July 14, 2009, the series was released after years of legal problems linked to many of the episodes. A Condition film featuring most the original troupe members is at the works, but was delayed by the 2007-2008 screenwriters strike, no release date for that project has been announced.
