Due to madness and the sounds of New York and late Eisenhower-era America's devastating traditions, itinerant journalist Paul Kemp journeys to Puerto Rico's island to write for a San Juan newspaper conducted by the editor Lotterman that is down trodden. Adopting the life style of the late'version of Hemingway's'The Lost Generation','' Paul becomes entangled with a very attractive American woman along with her fiancée a business man involved with property growth prices that are shady. It is in this world which Kemp finds his true voice as a writer and integrity for a guy.
