Aftermath

Searching for a happy end to a tale of dread and unimaginable disaster, nine strangers are holed up in a farmhouse basement in rural Texas. The USA has hastily become embroiled in World War 3. A doctor called Hunter survives the nuclear attack and is thrown together by happenstance with a number of wounded and fearful sufferers, for example Elizabeth, a strong-willed confidant into Hunter, Brad - a antagonistic redneck jackass, and Jennifer, a barely traumatized young girl suffering from severe post-traumatic stress. Together, as they fight with characters they attempt to withstand the holocaust. In a shelter, Hunter and his dying partners wait for news out of the authorities when fending off hunger, radiation sickness, and a horde of dying and fearful refugees
