Boyfriends and Girlfriends

Blanche and Lea, a middle-class office worker and a student, meet in the suburbs of Paris and become fast friends. Lea is going on a date with Fabien, but she is contemplating ending her relationship with him. However, she is unable to express her feelings for Alexandre, Lea's attractive and clever buddy, because she feels tongue-tied whenever she encounters him. Blanche, still head over heels in love with the handsome Alexandre, begins to get to know Fabien when Lea is away on vacation. A great morality play by Rohmer.
