Fighting For The Motherland 1162

Emperor Wanyan Liang of the Jurchen Jin Dynasty intended to invade the Southern Song Dynasty in 1161. The Central Plain's residents struggled to make ends meet as a result of the Jin's brutality and the harsh recruitment policy. Xin Qiji, a 21-year-old villager who joined forces with others to resist the Jin army, then joined Geng Jing's more powerful voluntary army and won victory after victory. In order to achieve the reunion and drive out invaders, Xin Qiji traveled to the south in 1162 to convince the Song Emperor to drive the Jurchens from the north. After completing his task successfully, Xin Qiji discovered the troops had lost morale and the commander Geng Jing had been murdered by a traitor.
