Love and Monsters

Joel Dawson and the rest of humanity have been living underground for seven years following the Monsterpocalypse, ever since enormous beasts gained control of the world. Joel begins to fall for his high school love Aimee again after reconnecting by radio with her 80 miles away in a beach colony. As Joel realizes he has no options underground, he resolves against all reasoning to venture out to Aimee, despite the dangers that await him.
