Made in Abyss: Journey's Dawn

The mysterious Abyss is a harsh and lethal environment for anybody who ventures there. In spite of the inherent risks, it continues to captivate the imaginations of adventurers like Riko, who has a strong desire to become a Cave Raider like her mother and works very hard to prepare herself for the job. Riko gets word one day that her mother passed away while exploring the Abyss; nevertheless, a mystery note reveals to her that her mother might still be alive. Riko sets off on a voyage with a humanoid robot kid named Reg, with the intention of learning the truth about what happened to her mother. They will have to figure out together if they have what it takes to make it through an environment in which so many others have failed to do so.
