Mon-Rak Transistor

Phaen is a young man who lives in the suburbs and has a deep appreciation for music. When there is an opportunity for him to perform at temple fairs in his community, he never passes it up. It was during one of the fairs where he first encountered Sadao and fell in love with her. On the day when Phaen and Sadao are being married, Phaen presents Sadao a transistor radio as a gift. Not only does the new family adore the radio, but it also inspires Phaen to daydream that he is a renowned singer himself.
