Salon Mexico

Mercedes (Marga Lopez) dances for money with the customers of Beauty parlor Mexico, a popular cabaret in Mexico City. Her younger sis Beatriz (Derbez) studies in a pricey independent school, paid by Mercedes. Certainly, young Beatriz doesn't know about her sibling's job. Difficulties start when Mercedes wins a danzon contest with Paco (Acosta), her pimp. Paco declines to share the prize with Mercedes, so she steals the money when he's sleeping.
