The Battery

Takumi Harada moves to Okayama Prefecture with his family throughout spring break before his access to Junior high. On the baseball field, Takumi has huge self-confidence in his capability as pitcher, however socially he is a loner and shows up unapproachable to others. Takumi satisfies a brand-new schoolmate Goh Nagakura. Goh is astounded by Takumi's throwing and is eager to pair up with him as his catcher. Both sign up with the Nitta East Junior High School baseball group, just to find that baseball there is under the "complete control" of a dictator-like coach. Reluctant to compromise his beliefs, Takumi resists as well as encounter the instructor.
