The Father

Vasil has lost his partner in life. Vasil seeks the help of a well-known psychic as a way to try to speak to his spouse, when a woman at her funeral proclaims that the dead woman called her phone. His son Pavel attempts to bring him to his senses, but Vasil reluctantly insists on doing things their own way... Following the internationally successful The Lesson and Glory, Grozeva and Valchanov return by having an intimate family drama about the issues of associating with people close to us. As the movie slowly gathers momentum, its narrative unfolds a number of those closely arranged absurd or comic cases typical for the filmmaking duo.
