The Love Letter

Jonas, a Parisian in his 40s, has not gotten over his ex-girlfriend Léa and continues to have an overwhelming need to be with her. After he knocks on her door to tell her how he feels about her, but she doesn't want to talk to him, he winds up at the café down below. He avoids everything he was due to accomplish that day in order to settle down and write her a lengthy love letter, but suddenly he is struck with inspiration. Surprisingly, what starts out as a last ditch effort to win her back quickly transforms into an in-depth reflection on the current situation of his life. Jonas is forced to confront his previous relationships, his uncertain future, and most importantly, himself, over the course of a single day with the assistance of a wisecracking bartender and a diverse group of customers from the surrounding neighborhood.
