The Unsinkable Molly Brown

A waterfall may be seen in the foreground and majestic mountains can be seen in the backdrop. Is that a river canoe? No, it's a baby in a cradle. Molly Brown has weathered her first major setback: a flood. Sixteen years later, she embarks on a journey to find her place in the world. Is she able to sing and play the piano? She reassures the saloon proprietor in Leadville that she can and will learn rapidly. She will soon marry Johnny Brown, who will be able to replace the original cigar wrapper wedding band with a replica made of gold and gemstones in a few years. To be welcomed into Denver society, though, it requires more than a few million bucks. The Browns travel to Europe and bring back a couple crowned heads for a banquet that devolves into a ballroom brawl. Molly travels alone to Europe and returns aboard the Titanic. For the story to conclude here, she had to survive a flood when she was a baby.
