Under Capricorn

Irishman Charles Adare travels to start a fresh life. If he arrives he meets ex-convict and powerful land owner, Sam Flusky, who wishes to complete a small business deal with him. Whilst attending a supper party at the house of Flusky, Charles meets Flusky's wife Henrietta who he'd known in Ireland. Henrietta appears to be on the point of madness and is an alcoholic.
