White Wedding

The story revolves around Paradis' character, Mathilde, a gloomy teenager of 17 years old who has never known her parents. It just so happens that her philosophy teacher, Francois (Cremer), happened to wander across her path, and he is ready to assist her in expanding her knowledge. He begins to show up at her house on a daily basis, going through her assignments with her and instructing her in the proper way to study. After some time has passed, Mathilde will start dropping signals here and there that she finds Francois, who is 47 years old, attractive. He makes an effort to fight her off, but despite his best efforts, he can't help but develop feelings for her. They quickly discover that they are deeply in love with one another, but they have to keep their affair a secret from his wife Mikael and the school.
