Asylum
Asylum is. Set at a mental asylum, it ran into one set of six episodes. To a point, it turned out unlike conventional sitcoms or humor television shows a chance for stand-up routines by comedians, mixed with an over all story. It's significant for between a significant number of British comedians, those who've gone onto focus with a few of the decade's humor programmes. It marked the first cooperation of Simon Pegg, Edgar Wright and Jessica Stevenson, who'd move onto make cult sitcom Spaced. A number of the characters titles were the same as the ones of the actors who portrayed them.
David Devant & His Spirit Wife would be the"house band" for its sequence, performing sections from every episode, by their first record, Work, Lovelife, Miscellaneous. The lead in track"Ginger" functioned while the programme's name songs.
