Bagpuss
Bagpuss is a children's television series that was produced in the United Kingdom by Peter Firmin and Oliver Postgate through their firm Smallfilms from the 12th of February to the 7th of May in 1974. The protagonist was described as "an ancient, saggy, fabric cat," who was baggier than usual and had seams that were a little bit loose. Despite the fact that there were only thirteen episodes of the show produced, it is still widely remembered, and it was routinely rebroadcast in the UK for a total of thirteen years. According to a poll conducted by the BBC in1999, Bagpuss was the most popular children's television show in the United Kingdom.
