Birds of a Feather
Birds of a Feather is a sitcom Which Has Been broadcast on BBC One from 1989 and on ITV in 2013. Starring Linda Robson, Pauline Quirke and Lesley Joseph, it had been created by Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran, who wrote some of the episodes along side many different writers.
The very first episode sees sisters Tracey Stubbs and Sharon Theodopolopodos attracted when their husbands are sent to prison for armed robbery. Moves to Tracey house in Chigwell, Essex. Their neighbour, Dorien Green, and friend can be really just a middleaged married woman who is constantly having affairs with men. From the series that was next the place is changed to Hainault. The series ended after a 9-year-run on Christmas Eve 1998.
On the Mirror reported that the sitcom was put for a yield reporting that Lesley Joseph, Pauline Quirke and Linda Robson have been asked by the team behind the sitcom to make another collection. Quirke was reported saying if the writers created good ideas that they were up to your struggle. Next speculation of a return in 2009 nothing has been said. However, in July 2012 Lesley Joseph suggested that Birds of a Feather could reunite for another series after having a stage excursion.
