Junior Masterchef
Junior MasterChef is really a TV cookery contest, broadcast by the BBC, by which nine- to - twelve-year-olds compete to become crowned Junior MasterChef. It is a spinoff from the series MasterChef.
Junior MasterChef first conducted in 1994 to 1999, presented by Loyd Grossman. After a very long hiatus, it was revived in a format, presented by writer and actress previously Nadia Sawalha restaurant owner and a hollywood MasterChef contestant, and fighter John Torode, that also presents MasterChef this year. The revival series created by Shine Television and was commissioned by CBBC Controller Anne Gilchrist, and was broadcast on BBC One. A further show was commissioned for broadcast on CBBC in 2012.
