Rebelde Can Be a Mexican telenovela created by Cris Morena and Made by Televisa. It's a picture of a famous Argentine series Rebelde Way adapted for the Mexican market resulting in gaps in characters' backgrounds. The show ran for three seasons, the last event culminated in Mexico on June 2, 2006. Rebelde was substituted in June 2006 with Televisa series Código Postal. The show is set at the Elite Way School, a prestigious private school in Mexico City with a plotline revolving around a group. Subplots involve the faculty's faculty and the students' parents. One trademark of this show is that the use of English words and phrases. A notable feature of the show is that the actors playing with the bandmembers are themselves at an actual ring termed RBD, and perform most of the music used on the show. They have been exceptionally powerful in their own right, becoming among the very popular acts in Latin America and traveling internationally. Rebelde ended on December 15, 2006 and began airing March 21, 2005. The show was also transmitted in 65 different countries, such as Serbia, Peru, Romania on Acasa TV, Brazil, Spain on Antena 3, Slovenia, Bulgaria and from September 2009 at Slovakia on TV Doma, at Croatia on Nova TV and in Albania on Vizion Plus.
