Amazon was a tv series. It was developed WIC Entertainment & by manufacturing companies Alliance Atlantis Communications and business Beta Film GmbH. The 22 episodes of the show were at first-run syndication between 1999 and 2000.
The drama show centered on both survivors of a crashed airline flight from the Amazon jungle. The set comes in to connection with a Native American tribe, and relationships really are not anything but favorable. A mysterious tribe, who also descended out of century colonists that were lost from Amazon takes the group. Relationships with the Chosen are tenuous at best. The majority of the group escapes the plumped for just to stir up a hornets nest with a tribe of cannibals, led by an insane American woman bent on domination of the regional tribes. The season ended at a cliff hanger, and a second season was never produced. The show retained interest that was adequate that it was released at 2011 on DVD.
A novelization of the pilot was compiled by Rob MacGregor, and there was a mass-market paperback released by Harper on 8 Aug 2000.
The German name was Amazonas - Gefangene des Dschungels.
